Changes...

Life is always full of changes... some good, some not-so-good, and some of everything in between.

For my art business, I'm always trying to find what works best for me. What doesn't work for me is paying a fortune for an e-commerce website, awkwardly trying to market myself, having my eyes on screens too much, and dealing with scammers. Having an online business has its benefits, but I'd rather work more personally with people. Festivals are fun. I like connecting on Facebook. That's enough for me.

Want to know what the changes are? Here are some bullet points:

  • No more shop on my website.

  • Instagram posts will happen whenever I feel like it. (not often)

  • I will still post on Facebook since my real-life friends are there. (so you can follow me there)

  • I'm still doing custom pet portraits, but you have to contact me directly about it.

  • I might not have new stickers, mugs, or prints very often.

  • Prices have dropped on all of my existing inventory. (stickers, mugs, prints...)

  • I will sell existing inventory only at festivals and on Facebook.

Basically, I'm keeping all the good parts of art and reducing the headaches.

Since I'm talking about changes, I also want to mention my new part-time job that I absolutely love. I'm now a 7th-12th grade Language Arts assistant at a local homeschool tutorial. If you know me personally, you know that I love teaching and love kids. I also firmly believe it is where God put me and my girls this year. I feel so blessed!

Thanks for checking out what the changes are. I appreciate all of my art supporters.

Love and blessings,

Jessica
