All of my pet portraits are painted on high quality watercolor paper with professional watercolors.

So how does it work?
I will use photos you send to me as a reference for sketching and painting your pet. Just one picture is fine, but the more you send the better idea I can get of the appropriate colors.
You may send the pictures and any helpful information about your pet via the Pet Portrait Commission Form or to my email at jessicassketchbook@gmail.com.
How long does it take?
Paintings take about 2 weeks.
Can I have more than one pet in a single painting?
Yes! Each additional pet will cost an extra $20. Contact me prior to purchasing to let me know you would like multiple pets. I will give you a price quote and invoice.
What about the background?
My pet portraits will have a simple watercolor background. If you would like a fully detailed background, an additional charge may apply. Please contact me for a price quote.
Do I get to see the progress?
I will let you see the sketch and one or more work in progress photos. I will also send you a photo of the completed painting before shipping.
Do you do any frames or mats?
No, I do not include any framing or matting services. All of my paintings are standard sizes to easily frame them yourself or have them framed at your local frame shop. I recommend using a mat when framing so the painting is not directly against the glass.
What about shipping?
Free domestic shipping anywhere in the US! Tracking and insurance are included.
Expedited shipping is also available at an additional charge.

Important Note:
Sometimes I like to sell prints or make other items, such as stickers, with my paintings. If you do not want your pet portrait used in any other way or want me to wait until a certain time (like after Christmas), just let me know. Also, if I haven't already and you want me to make other items with your pet on them, I will be happy to.
